A long-term strategic platform designed to connect Syria’s redevelopment priorities with international capital, engineering expertise, technology, industrial partnerships and responsible private-sector investment.
Syria’s redevelopment requires more than isolated transactions. It requires coordinated infrastructure, reliable energy, productive industry, modern logistics, credible financing and serious international partnerships.
The Initiative is designed to connect Syrian priorities and qualified local stakeholders with international investors, engineering groups, technology providers, financial institutions, industrial operators and long-term markets.
Our objective is to help assemble complete development ecosystems—combining infrastructure, capital, technology, operators, logistics and markets around projects of genuine national importance.

Chief Executive Officer · HZM Syria Redevelopment Initiative
After twenty years spent outside Syria, living and working across Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Spain, I feel immensely proud today to have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the reconstruction and renewal of the country where I grew up and received my education.
Syria is more than simply the country I belong to; it is an essential part of my story. It is where my journey began and where I developed many of the values and ambitions that have guided me throughout my life. Representing Syria as a member of the national water polo team was one of the experiences that most deeply instilled in me a sense of belonging and responsibility toward my country.
Over the past twenty years abroad, I have gained experience, built relationships, and helped establish and develop businesses across several countries. Yet throughout that journey, one ambition has remained constant: to see the day when I could bring part of that experience, network, and capability back to Syria and contribute to rebuilding the country.
Today, through our group of companies and our investments in strategic sectors—including mining and mineral exploration, phosphate fertilizers, the automotive industry, and others—that ambition has evolved into a tangible responsibility and a mission we are in a position to pursue. I am honored to undertake this responsibility in my role as CEO of the Group’s Syria Reconstruction Projects Initiative.
I am equally proud to be one of the founders of the Syrian-Spanish Business Council and to lead it as Executive Director, with the aim of creating a meaningful platform for strengthening economic and commercial ties between Syria and Spain, attracting expertise and investment, and creating opportunities that can contribute to a new era of development and reconstruction.
For me, rebuilding Syria is not simply about constructing roads, factories, and new projects. It is about rebuilding opportunities, restoring confidence, and renewing hope for a better future for generations to come.
After twenty years away, I believe the time has come to give back to Syria a part of what it has given me—and to contribute, alongside everyone who believes in its future, to rebuilding the country and restoring it to the place it deserves.
