Our plan for future years is to report annually on sustainability metrics and to continually advance our SECP reporting to include additional information on our activities and initiatives to demonstrate our commitment to sustainable corporate governance.

HZM GHG Emissions Reduction Commitment
At HZM Marmi e Pietre, we recognize the urgency of climate action and our role in reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across the value chain. As part of our commitment to sustainable development and alignment with the Paris Agreement, we are proud to announce our official GHG reduction targets:
Our Climate Goals
- Reduce total Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions by 35% by 2030, from a 2023 baseline.
- Achieve net-zero operational emissions by 2045 through clean energy and process optimization.
- Expand Scope 3 emissions accounting by 2026 and launch supplier decarbonization engagement by 2028.
How We’ll Get There
- Expansion of on-site solar energy systems and sourcing certified renewable electricity.
- Transition to energy-efficient and electric machinery.
- Implementation of yearly energy audits and GHG inventories aligned with GHG Protocol.
